Yoga Festival Program
Saturday June 7th
From the moment you think you have arrived on the mat, Penny will weave her surprises into this true heartfelt Awakening Gratitude practice. With heart opening shapes and standing postures to ground and ignite your joyous light within, this practice aims to have you receiving gratitude for yourself first and leaving projecting gratitude and kindness out to the community around you and beyond. We’ll begin with breathwork before we warm ourselves throughout the practice of Vinyasa and lead to heart expansive opportunities. This is a practice for anyone who chooses to leave feeling joy and wanting more of that oxytocin boost!
Experience the transformative power of Sivananda Yoga. This classical Hatha style has a holistic approach combines physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), deep relaxation (savasana), and meditation to harmonize body and mind.
Their signature offering at Be Brave Yoga, Electric Feelz has been facilitated at some of Australia's biggest music festivals and aims to create an experience that is joyous, uplifting and light hearted - they believe yoga doesn't always have to be heavy or just for the “yogis”! Expect a strong vinyasa, set to a pumped up playlist, laughter and a little bit of partner play, spiced up with some fun dance moves (no yoga or dance experience required).
Frank will teach a 90-minute Yoga class that focuses on the fundamental principles of Asana practice. By establishing a stable foundation, refining alignment, developing strength, flexibility, and balance, and integrating the breath, we build a practice that is both sustainable and transformative. “The study of Asana is not about mastering posture. It is about using posture to understand and transform oneself.” - B.K.S. Iyengar
A relaxing class of serenity, solitude & space to simply “be”. Surrendering into softness, stillness & shapes. Allowing for deep relaxation & harmony of inner Chi. A Truly Magical Yoga Practise.
Fusion of a Vinyasa breath flow with a Yin style end. When pain held me back, yoga became my path to freedom.
This class will be deeply nourishing. We'll ease our way into our bodies and practice while honouring the change of season and transition into the cooler time of year. We'll explore different asanas, movements, and pranayama. All levels and ages are welcome.
Embrace Samatva (equanimity and even-mindedness) with Alex on a Yoga journey designed to cultivate deep tranquility and rejuvenation. We'll explore Himalayan breathwork to balance your nervous system, the gentle stillness of Yin Yoga for physical tension release and deep connection within, and a nervous system-calming Kriya set woven with balancing Yoga practices. This session will reduce anxiety, creating a sense of calm and balance in your mind, body, and energy, offering a truly peaceful and restorative experience. Please bring a bolster and a blanket if you have one.
Bhagavad Gita is a classic Eastern Spiritual text. It is a How to Live your life Manual. I will be summarizing this 18 chapter text. My aim is to show you how this Spiritual text applies to our lives. I have completed a 4 year study on this book with my teacher in Geelong Micheal Boluslav. I have also studied the Upanishads and attended other Bhagavad Gita classes over my 15 years of my Spiritual Journey. I am an initiated Kriya Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda Self Realisation Fellowship. Paramahansa Yogananda is my Guru. My aim is to apply these inspiring words to our everyday lives, to give meaning not only to our own lives but to those around us. I was in my 30s when I started asking the question is there more to life? That question initiated my search for meaning. My studies have enriched my life and helped me to cope with all of life’s ups and downs.
The Five Element Form is designed to purify and enhance the qualities of the Pancha Koshas (five sheaths of human existence). Created by ancient Indian Tantra Yogis and Seers who observed the natural world around them as a reflection of the Five Elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Akasha. The Five Element Form includes practices to purify and enhance: - Anamaya Kosha, the physical body - asana, physical movement. - Pranamaya Kosha, the pranic body - pranayama, breath-work. - Manamaya Kosha, the mental body - yoga nyasa, yoga healing practices. - Vijnanamya Kosha, the chakra body - mantra and chanting. - Annanadamaya Kosha, the spiritual body - meditation. The healing properties of "The Form" are derived from a yoga practice known as Tattwa Shuddi Sadhana. The physical benefits include increase of circulation of blood bringing oxygen and nutrients to every cell of the physical body. Increases circulation of lymphatic fluid to help cleanse and eliminate toxins. Expansion and contraction of the physical body creates pumps and massages the tissues and organs within, which are the source of our collective health and wellbeing. This is an accessible practice for everyone and everybody.

Nourish your nervous system and soothe your soul with Nat and Bec.This curated sequence of breath work, kundalini yoga, mantra chanting and sound mediation will bring you back to natural resonance.Movement opens the body. Your breath carries the sound. Group chanting elevates the sound meditation experience as you lie down and drift to the land of lullaby.
Use your body and see how easy it is to release....! The psoas is one of our deepest core muscles. It is the only muscle that connects our legs to our spine and is often too short, which causes back pain, period pain and other postural alignment issues.
A Wayapa Wuurrk Earth Connection Practice incorporating Indigenous Wisdoms, an embodied practice incorporating 14 Earth Elements and gentle Yoga movements woven in to embellish the Earth, Mind, Body and Breath connection.
A practice that begins and ends with the voice. In this class we will work with Kirtan; call and response, to ground into our guided yin practice and end in celebration. I have been practicing yoga for about 15 years, getting serious about my practice 5 years ago and becoming a regular at many studios around Australia as I moved for work. As a busy professional I came to yoga to bring some peace and balance into my life, now I build my life around limbs of yoga. I have completed a 250 hour yoga teacher training in the Tantric linage and 150 hours of yin training, I teach Flow and Yin Classes with a strong anatomical focus. But my first introduction to Kirtan saw me bring my love of music and singing to the practice of yoga – integrating these two modalities.
Fascial maneuvers are designed to reduce stress so your body can begin to heal. By opening up and releasing your fasica your body can move and feel better. The benefits include releasing trauma, improved athletic performance, reduction of autoimmune symptoms, improved mobility, reduced pain.
As the festival comes to a close, this deeply restorative Yoga Nidra practice invites you to lie down, let go, and integrate. Through this guided rest practice, you’ll be gently led into a state of deep relaxation where the body softens, the mind quietens, and your whole system has space to absorb, restore, and renew. A chance to reflect inward, restore balance, and return home to yourself before you head back into the world.
A practical and welcoming workshop for anyone curious about meditation or wanting to explore mindfulness meditation. We’ll explore what mindfulness meditation is, try three guided meditations (each with a different anchor point), and experiment with different postures and approaches. There’ll be space for questions and gentle reflection throughout. Come as you are. Leave with simple, supportive meditation tools to bring more calm, clarity, and connection into your everyday life.
In this workshop Ramon offers a hands on work shop to develop a greater understanding of your emotions and how to manage them effectively. You will learn tools to gain knowledge of how to transform outdated patterns of behaviour. If you are seeking to enhance the quality of your relationships this workshop is a powerful path to gain a deeper understanding of emotional intelligence and awareness.
Based on the jewels of wisdom of Sri Dharma Mittra. The class includes a complete experience of Asana, guided healing relaxation in Shavasana, chanting of Mantra to activate the subtle consciousness, and easy alternate-nostril Breathing (Pranayama).
Dru Yoga is a form of yoga that combines gentle, flowing movements, directed breathing, and visualization to improve body, mind, and spirit. The focus is on core stability, stress reduction, and building inner resilience. Specific sequences are used to release physical and emotional blockages, promoting overall well-being.
In this dynamic class, we’ll focus on the essential role of strength in creating a balanced asana practice. While flexibility and mobility are key, strength provides the foundation for them. Through mindful movement and conscious breath, we’ll build core stability, upper body strength, and leg power, cultivating resilience and vitality. This class will deepen your practice, enhance strength, and improve flexibility, all while maintaining a mindful connection to breath and body.
End your festival weekend grounded and open with a traditional yoga class led by Ramon. Expect clear, mindful instruction, the intelligent use of props, and a steady arc from awakening to stillness. All levels welcome.
