I am a lover of yoga and always have been, and in my later years I discovered Dru Yoga and decided not only to mainly focus on the Dru style of yoga for my personal practice but to enter into a teacher training course, which I started in 2013 and graduated 2 years later with a Teaching Diploma in 2015. It was a transformative journey for myself and I have been teaching ever since knowing it provides the tools we need to support ourselves in everyday life.
I have added courses and workshops to further my understanding including Backcare, Spiritual, Kids and Teens and I have recently become a Calm and Relax Coach through the Dru school. I have also been fortunate to contribute to Rehabilitation programs as an Allied Health Assistant in my health care work with breathing techniques, activation and cooling down movements and relaxation. This period was incredibly rewarding for myself and clients.
I love sharing the gifts of Dru Yoga, connecting with my students and growing together.
I look forward to Warrnambool’s first Yoga Festival giving and receiving.
